Mother polar bear and cubs come running to the "Great Polar Bear Feast"! The inupiat people of Kaktovik had just harvested one of their three whale allotment. The Natives bring the remains of the bow-head whale to a small peninsula on the outside of town. Here the Polar Bears gather and fill up before the ice up on Barter Island.
